Let’s say you’ve done your homework before showing up for your scheduled job interview. You made every effort to follow every job application tips that you know – making sure that your resume is up to date, dressing appropriately, etc., etc. But in spite of all the preparations, what you are concerned about the most are the types of questions that the interviewer would throw at you.

Actually, there are no exact ways to tell what the interviewer might have in mind. Job interview questions could be just about anything – questions may be about your educational background or previous job experience. It could also be something related to your interests or hobbies and your special skills. You might also be asked about your personal strengths and weaknesses. However, the best we can do is sum up the most common and most important job interview questions into three.

The first and most common job interview questions – why are you interested in working in this field? Your answer to the question would touch upon your passion in chosen field. Think your initial decision why you chose it. You can say the your good in this field emphasize your strengths, as well as weaknesses.

The second job interview question would be – why you are interested in this position? This is related to the first question but more specific. So, explain the advantages of being hired for the position and emphasize your talent and skills.

The third most common job interview question is – why do you want to work for this company? Now that you’ve talked about your interest in the position, explain why you chose this particular company. Consider telling the interviewer how you’ve heard about the company and why do you think it matters for you to be a part of it. You may also say that you believe your skills can help the company achieve continuous growth and development. Remember that in applying for the job, you are selling yourself – so sell yourself with confidence and deep conviction. No job application tips can help you if you lack those qualities. Also, be straightforward and honest about your answers. Job interviewers can sense if you are being sincere or just trying to please them with your replies.
