Everything that takes place around you corresponds to what is going in deep within you.  Your surrounding or your outer environment is like your mirror, reflecting what goes on inside your inner self.  If you live in a home or work in a place that appears like a tornado just passed by, then it is more likely that you are experiencing some inner turmoil as well. It can happen to you either consciously or unconsciously.

Nothing finds its way towards your life or lingers on, unless there is something within the realm of your thoughts that sustain it.  Whatever it is that you can contain in your mind, plausibly you can achieve it too.  If you think or if you are confident you have the capability to be organized and can hold a lucid vision of it in your thoughts quite longer, eventually, it will reflect on the perception you have for your outer environment.  It is that simple.  As you commit to remove the clutters in your life, effects will then be noticeable and possibly immediate.  Stagnant and stuck energy will begin to circulate in your being.  You will know by feeling more peaceful and utterly relaxed, relieved, lighter and less stressful.  It is all about organizing your thoughts by cleaning up all the disarrays going on in it.  How?

Take the time to look around your room.  Are things in order?  Are your stuffs where they should be?  Do you have any excess and unnecessary items around that you do not actually need?  Too much stuff creates the same effect either outside or inside your mind.  It only obliterates and covers up beauty.  It is nothing but confusing and distracting.

Don’t you long for that tidy space?  It may not just be your room.  It may be your home, your office, your “to-do” list or your crammed schedule.  To get things organized, there are several steps to take.  To follow them is to make organizing easy and manageable for you.  They greatly support in saving your energy and time, while at the same time, keeping you focused, encouraged and realistic.

It certainly helps to keep in mind that a project can take up most of your time, even more than you anticipated.  Therefore, it is best if you double the usual time you allotted for it.  Practice caution and care if you try to complete a big project at once because tendency is, you area more likely to start it with a gallop only to skid to a halt after 60 minutes had passed.  Thus, it is befitting to adhere to shorter but consistent sessions.

You will not be organized nor attained utmost orderliness if you easily get distracted or find it difficult to focus.  To solve this concern, use a timer and set it for 30 minutes before you begin working.  Condition yourself not to stop working unless the timer sets off indicating that 30 minutes is over.  As you get the hang of working for 30 minutes straight without interruptions, increase your time limit to 45 minutes or one hour, until gradually, you develop a particular sense of working schedule, uninterrupted.

To be more productive and effective, gather all the supplies you will need before you start working.  Also, allow 15-30 minutes of your time to be consumed on cleaning up and disposing the trash after each organizing session.  If you think your project is really huge, prepare a schedule to do one particular task at a time.  Like for example you are organizing your expansive bedroom, allocate one session to arrange your bookshelf, and then another for your dresser and personal collections.  It helps to write them on a sheet of paper to serve as your organizing plan.  Not to mention, it will definitely keep you on track.

By keeping your surroundings organized and seeing things in order, you will then have a more organized thought somehow.  Organizing your life, as well as those inside you starts with the simple act of de-cluttering your environment.  In doing such, be always reminded that everything has its own place and should be in its place.
